On July 21, 8 teams answered the call and joined us for an evening of archery in support of Oakleaf Enterprise’s #1thing4oakleaf campaign.

Oakleaf is a Surrey-based charity that works with some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Their vocational training enables people recovering from mental illness to rebuild their lives and rediscover their self-esteem and independence.

They would like to do more to help those in need, by setting themselves a target of delivering 1,000 more training sessions in 2016.

To do this, they need help and have reached out for support, asking people to do 1 thing, such as a dress-down day, a sponsored run, a collection or in our case an archery tournament!

The event was a great success and we are so thankful to those who came along, supported the campaign, loosed some arrows and just maybe had some fun along the way – we even convinced a few people to take up archery, which is a real bonus for us!

In total, the event raised £700 for Oakleaf, which will go towards helping them reach their goal!
